We Believe…
The Bible is God’s inspired Word and our inerrant guide, the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
One God, the Creator, exists in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God, the Father, is an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love.
Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son, fully God and fully man, conceived by God, the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. We also believe in His sinless life, His substitutionary atonement, His bodily resurrections from the dead, His Ascension into heaven, His priestly intercession on behalf of His people and His personal, visible, pre-millennial return from heaven.
The Holy Spirit, His personality and His work in regeneration, sanctification and preservation – all serve to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, implement Christ’s work of redeeming the lost and empower the believer for godly living and servicer.
Man is a sinner by nature and choice, and as such is alienated from God and under Divine judgment.
Salvation was secured by Christ’s death on the cross, and is received by man through faith, apart from any human merit, works or ritual. We further believe that salvation results in righteous living, good works and proper social concern. Judgment awaits all those who do not trust Christ.
The church is a body of born again, baptized believers, associated together for the purpose of worship, instruction, evangelism and for service. Each local church is self-governing in function, and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority.
The ordinances of the church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.
